Rental Rules and Responsibility Boundaries

Cloud Mac Rental Terms

These Terms explain how RentMini provides a dedicated physical Mac mini for the agreed rental period and the responsibilities users assume for accounts, payments, regions, data migration, and security. By placing an order or continuing to use the service, you agree to these Terms.

Acceptance and Service Definition

First, understand what you are buying and when these Terms take effect.

RentMini provides cloud Mac services rented by the day, week, month, or quarter. Each valid order grants access to one dedicated physical Mac mini; it is not a shared virtual machine and does not transfer ownership of the device. The service includes the configuration, region, rental period, selected add-ons, and console features listed in the order for managing it and retrieving connection details.

By submitting an order, completing payment, retrieving connection details, or continuing to use the cloud Mac, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms. Anyone ordering for a team or organization must have authority to accept these Terms and manage the related charges.

The service period begins when the Console shows that delivery is complete and connection details are available. The rental period, configuration, region, and add-ons are determined by the order confirmation. Marketing pages, sample invoices, and use cases explain the service but do not replace a confirmed order.

Service type Dedicated physical Mac mini
Available rental periods Day, week, month, quarter

Accounts and Orders

Account details, login credentials, and order status together determine whether the service can be delivered securely.

You must provide accurate, complete account information suitable for service communications. Update changes to your work email, order identifier, or payment information in the Console or explain them through a support ticket without delay. You are responsible for correcting verification failures, delayed notices, or unmatched orders caused by inaccurate information.

Login credentials are for authorized personnel only. Use reasonable access controls, avoid untraceable shared credentials, and never publicly disclose Console sessions, device connection details, or verification information. If you detect an unusual login, unknown order, or suspected credential leak, change the credentials immediately and submit a support ticket through the Console.

Whether an order is placed, payment is complete, connection details have been generated, and the service is currently available is determined by the real-time status shown in the Console. Email notifications may provide updates but do not replace the order record in the Console.

  • Check the model, rental period, region, and add-ons before ordering.
  • Before paying, verify the USD total and selected payment method.
  • After retrieving connection details, immediately verify the device name, region, and credential status.
  • Revoke access promptly when team members no longer need it.
03

Configurations and Regions

The current catalog has two models and four regions, with no additional unlisted combinations available.

The current configurations are RentMini M4 16 and RentMini M4 24. Both use the M4 chip; they differ in memory and built-in storage. Choose based on project scale, concurrent tasks, model size, and space for build artifacts.

Current cloud Mac configurations
Configuration Chip Memory Built-in storage
RentMini M4 16 M4 16GB 256GB SSD
RentMini M4 24 M4 24GB 512GB SSD

The four available regions are Singapore, Japan (Tokyo), South Korea (Seoul), and Hong Kong. Both models can be ordered in all four regions. Catalog combinations are generally available, but actual availability at checkout is determined by the real-time response from the Console.

Your region choice affects network routing and the remote operating experience. You should verify the connectivity conditions between your local network, team members, code repositories, and build artifact destinations. To change a configuration or region after order confirmation, submit a support ticket through the Console first; eligibility depends on the order stage and actual service conditions.

04

Pricing and Payments

Each rental period is priced independently, and add-ons are added to the order for the same period.

The base fee depends on the selected model and rental period. Day, week, month, and quarter prices are independent and are not calculated from fixed multiples. The order total may also include selected SSD expansions or the number of Thunderbolt 5 links.

Base rental prices for both models, all in USD
Configuration Daily Weekly Monthly Quarterly
RentMini M4 16 $19.4 $52.3 $96.9 $263.6
RentMini M4 24 $41.5 $112.2 $207.7 $564.9
+1TB SSD $2.7/day · $7.2/week $13.4/month · $36.4/quarter
+2TB SSD $5.4/day · $14.4/week $26.8/month · $72.8/quarter
Thunderbolt 5 link $1.8/day · $4.8/week $8.9/month · $24.2/quarter, per unit

Payments support USDT-TRC20 only, plus Visa, Mastercard, and Amex through Stripe. All quotes, orders, and invoices are denominated and settled in USD. The payment gateway actually available is determined by the Console.

Before confirming payment, check the configuration, rental period, region, add-ons, number of links, and total due. If payment fails, a submission is duplicated, or the billing identifier cannot be matched, stop retrying and submit a support ticket through the Console. Unconfirmed verbal statements or off-page quotes do not establish the order price.

05

Acceptable Use

Dedicated resources do not permit bypassing the law, security rules, or third-party rights.

You may use the agreed resources for software development, automated builds, testing, model inference, remote creative work, and lawful data processing. Your use must not compromise the security or stability of other nodes, infrastructure, networks, or third-party systems.

The following activities are prohibited:

  • Illegal activity:Using the service to commit, assist with, or conceal violations of applicable law.
  • Unauthorized access:Scanning, probing, compromising, or attempting to access accounts, devices, networks, or data without authorization.
  • Credential abuse:Buying, selling, publishing, stealing, or bypassing access credentials or verification mechanisms.
  • Malware distribution:Creating, hosting, executing, or distributing code intended to cause damage, enable extortion, steal data, or provide covert control.
  • Intellectual property infringement:Copying, distributing, or processing protected software, media, models, code, or other content without permission.
  • Compromising node security:Evading resource limits, disrupting networks, tampering with logs, consuming abnormal bandwidth continuously, or endangering other physical nodes.

To verify a security incident, RentMini may ask for the order number, time of occurrence, reproduction steps, and sanitized logs. Do not submit keys, private certificate keys, complete access credentials, or payment credentials in support communications.

06

User Data Responsibilities

Users manage the lifecycle of code, certificates, keys, models, and build artifacts.

You are responsible for confirming that you have the right to upload, create, process, and export data on the cloud Mac. Apply appropriate access controls and encryption based on project risk to code repositories, signing materials, model files, media assets, build caches, test data, and artifacts.

RentMini should not be treated as the sole backup location for your project. Maintain independent backups and verify recovery procedures before important builds, long-running tasks, or bulk transfers. Manage certificates, keys, and access tokens with least privilege; do not place them in public repositories, build logs, or directories accessible to unrelated people.

Complete the migration, archiving, and verification of needed data before the rental period ends, and remove sensitive data that is no longer needed. After the rental period ends, do not assume the device remains accessible or rely on post-termination data recovery as part of your routine backup plan.

At the start of the rental Verify the device, storage, time zone, and access permissions
During use Maintain backups and protect certificates, keys, and project data
Before the rental ends Migrate artifacts, verify archives, and remove sensitive content
07

Suspension, Termination, and Changes

The response depends on risk, severity of the violation, payment status, and legal requirements.

If there is a credible security risk, unauthorized access, a serious breach of acceptable-use rules, a payment irregularity, or a legal requirement, RentMini may restrict access to the relevant account, order, or node. Where immediate action is needed to protect a device, network, or third-party rights, necessary restrictions may be applied first, followed by the verification steps through account records or support channels.

You must provide enough information to verify an incident and complete credential changes, malicious-process removal, payment checks, or other corrective measures within a reasonable time. Whether service is restored after the risk is resolved depends on the order status, nature of the violation, and actual security conditions. Service may be terminated for repeated violations, refusal to remediate, or ongoing risk.

The model catalog, region options, add-ons, and page descriptions may change as service capabilities evolve. Confirmed orders are governed by their order records; new orders use the configuration, price, and availability shown in the Console at submission. Catalog changes do not constitute a permanent reservation for unconfirmed orders.

You may choose not to renew the service, but you must migrate your data and resolve outstanding matters before the current rental period ends. Submit any cancellation, adjustment, or billing-review request through a Console support ticket so it can be linked to the order record.

08

Liability Boundaries and Contact

The boundaries between platform capabilities, user projects, third-party software, and external networks must be clear.

RentMini is responsible for providing the cloud Mac specified in the confirmed order, access to a dedicated physical node, and necessary order support. You are responsible for verifying the licensing, compatibility, changes, functionality, and results of third-party software that you select, install, or configure. Project code, automation scripts, dependency versions, signing configurations, and build results are not guaranteed by the platform.

The remote experience may be affected by your local network, cross-region routes, network egress policies, file sizes, and third-party service status. Interruptions, delays, data loss, or project impact caused by user actions, improper credential management, external networks, third-party software or services, or events beyond reasonable control should be assigned according to each party’s actual sphere of control.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the platform operator is based. For disputes arising from these Terms or the service, the parties should first seek to resolve the matter in good faith through support channels. If unresolved, the dispute may be submitted to a court with jurisdiction in that jurisdiction.

For questions about these Terms, billing, orders, or data processing, you can contact the service team for clarification. For questions about an existing order, sign in to the Console and submit a support ticketor email support@rentmymini.com. To help us verify the issue, include the order number, region, time of occurrence, and a sanitized description.
